Two nights backpacking in an amazing land

Upheaval Dome

Murphy Point

Backpacking into Murphy Point but we had to wait for the storm to pass

An hour later it had moved a little north

The north had even more thunder and lightning

Looking south was blue sky

But there were still clouds to the North

When we woke up in the morning we made some tea and went up to a high spot to view the sunrise

The next day we headed to the Needles District
